Description:
The FMFIA is a law that requires executive agencies to establish and evaluate internal accounting and administrative controls. It holds these government agencies to similar standards for internal accounting and management controls as those that public companies are held to through Sarbanes-Oxley. Office of Management and Budget (OMB) implements the Act.
