Unified Modeling Language (UML)
A modeling language created by the Rational Software company to implement the Object Oriented methodology. The Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a language for specifying, visualizing, constructing, and documenting the artifacts of software systems, as well as for business modeling and other non-software systems.
Uniqueness
A characteristic of data. It means rules for whether there can be more than one data record with the same value.
Unit Testing
The most basic level of testing. Unit Testing verifies that the application software component's code works according to its specifications and validates the program logic.
Usability
A characteristic of data. It describes whether data is satisfactory and acceptable for the customer's intended use.
Use Case
A use case defines a goal-oriented set of interactions between external users and the system under consideration or development.
User Acceptance Testing
Testing conducted by business users or their designees to verify that the software satisfies its requirements.
