Validate

Validation
The process of determining whether a product or service meets the requirements for which it was intended.

Verification
Activities that confirm that work products properly reflect the requirements specified for them.

Version
A specific instance of a software element or document.

View
Data structure that results from an SQL query. It's a filtered or combined information set that is built from data in one or more tables.

VLDB
an acronym for Very Large Databases.

Vulnerability
In the context of Risk Management, this is a weakness that could be exploited by a threat. An example is an unlocked door. A missing control is also considered to be a vulnerability.
